El GOUNA
El Gouna has been constructed by the architects and builders who have set in the desert beside the Red Sea.
The city is positioned 25 kilometers North of Hurghada. The buildings have been constructed in a sandy mustard colour with Mediterranean and Oriental designs.
When the resort was being built kilometers of canals were dug allowing the sea water to flow through.
Many of the 20 islands near by are private islands with villas and are only accessible by boats and are connected by bridges allowing access.
Samih Sawiris a local Millionaire dreamt that this project would be fantastic and that everyone should go to visit it when they came to Egypt..
